The Associated Press has published an article detailing the arrest and journalistic restrictions being placed on journalists covering the recent tragic shooting incident in Minnesota. You can read the article here (http://www.theday.com/eng/web/news/re_ap.aspx?re=S/SCHOOL_SHOOTING_ACCESS).

Kinda seems unreasonable to me, the photographers were following the orders as stated. They were told "not to knock on doors to speak with residents and were ordered not to leave the main highway that runs through town". They were on the main highway taking photo's, I didn't see anything not allowing picture taking there. I can understand a grieving community feeling angry and wanting to lash out at someone but two individuals just trying to do their job outsider's or not shouldn't be the scapegoat.

Gee, drawing weapons on photographers...I wonder where the kid got the notion of gun violence from.

After the near-circus that media reporters created at Columbine, I'm glad to be spared the endless stream of pointless interviews with anyone who had ever heard of the shooter.
