Hey all, I did a search here and didn't find anything so I thought I ask this question.

I'm looking into buying a portable storage device (harddrive) for a roadtrip I'm taking in July for two weeks. I've been eyeing up the Wolverine Flashpacs (http://secure.serverlab.net/shop/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=T00107&Category_Code=FlashPac), (probably an 80 gig) or the Flashtrax (http://www.smartdisk.com/eWeb/smartdiskus/www/staticpages/FlashTrax1.asp) or the Xdrive (http://www.xs-drive.com/index.htm#_prods). I don't need anything with all the bells and whistles like the Flashtrax, just something that will reliably copy my files, let me know when it's done and how much battery is left. I'm seriously looking at the Wolverine but can't find much in the way of actual user reviews. Anyone else have any experience with these items that can shed some light on it for me?

Any feedback is appreciated,

cheers,W

I have used a Tripper USB 2.0 for a couple of years. It's been completely satisfactory for my needs, with the exception of the internal Li-Ion battery, which no longer holds a charge for vey long. I have an external battery that takes care of this problem, but it would have been nice for it to have a better battery that lasts longer or could be popped out and replaced in the field.

The Epson P2000 looks good. Can't claim to have tried it though
