First colour landscapes - help needed Part 2

Thanks for your really helpful comments guys. it seems that with your help i have been able to narrow it down to two images. with the images below i have attempted to incorporate your comments. i'm really hoping image two looks ok with the 'added' bottom section. what do you reckon, passable or too obvious?

i like the sky in number one and the rock formations in number two. would you consider a merge?

hmm, usually i wouldn't but i guess there's no harm in experimenting...
