Sheryl Crow co-headlined with John Mayer at the Verizon Wireless Music Center, giving a somewhat predictable performance because she was just in town a few months ago… her first concert in June of this year after being diagnosed with breast cancer. This time around she did look much more relaxed and comfortable. Crow (and Mayer) made contributions to the soundtrack for Disney/Pixar's summer animated hit Cars, "Real Gone”, and Mayer joined Crow onstage for Crow’s 1998 smash hit “My Favorite Mistake.” This visit, Crow’s stage was a bit more elaborate than her last with constantly moving and imaginative graphics. She and her band were also accompanied by a 4 piece string section. Popular favorites like "Soak Up the Sun" and "If It Makes You Happy" were in the set, but her 1994 smash hit, “All I Wanna Do” was missing.
