I bought Powershot G7 Digital Camera for just $419.00 from Spamsiteonline. It is for serious photography enthusiasts who have a lot to be excited about. It includes 10 megapixel resolution and a powerful 6x optical zoom and also includes an Optical Image Stabilizer for clear shots throughout the zoom range.

Stephen,
You have an interesting writing style, with a heavy promotional flavor to it. As a magazine editor, I'm always fascinated by the way people communicate with the written word. This is a style that we don't normally see in the dphoto forums, so I'll be reading future posts with great interest to see how this style is used when you start posting photos with your new G7.
Welcome to dphoto. We all look forward to seeing the photos you produce with your new camera, featuring a 10 megapixel Digic III processor, the latest technical development from Canon, the world leader in digital camera technology.
As a serious photography enthusiast, and owner of two DSLR bodies, I'm looking for a point-and-shoot camera that will serve me well for everyday use, yet offer the professional-level features I'm used to having in my DSLRs. I'm particularly interested to see how you implement the hotshoe feature, a first for cameras in the G7 class of consumer-level digital photography.
Also, please let us know how optical image stabilization performs for you, particularly at the long end of the 6X optical zoom range. As we all know, Canon's second-generation image stabilization technology uses gyro sensors to provide an effective two-stop gain in shutter speed, allowing you to get faster shutter speeds in normal light or to retain shutter speeds that allow hand-held photography in low-light situations.
Again, we're excited about this new purchase and look forward to viewing the images you and your new camera can produce.

Stephen, this is just what I need! I have been researching different cameras but being somewhat of a novice I wasn't sure exactly what would do best for me.
Can I ask about what lenses I should add to my purchase? Is the Optical Image Stabilizer sold separately and for how much?
I want to shoot sports this summer so I am anxious to buy!

I just bought enlargements for only an arm and a leg from plastic-online. Knowing full well that size matters, I went with the powerful 6x inflation. Adding the new integrated stabilizer proved very useful for keeping control during heavy sports activity. Also, it's guaranteed to weaken the resolution of any male within sight.

Steff, I am impressed.

Chris, (just found out) the Image Stabilizer comes with the optional Finnegan Pin which, while keeping it straight, adds significantly to the output and resolution.
I'm changing my order!

Is it compatible with a flux capacitor with 1.31 jigawatts of power?

The flux capacitor is an optional feature that, oddly enough, you also can purchase at Planetonline for the all-time low, low price of $2 gazillion. Not only is the 1.31 jigawatt version of the flux capacitor being offered, but also available exclusively at Planetonline is the newly introduced 4.8 jigawatt capacitor, with an introductory price of $8 gazillion. They have it in the standard black and in the prestigious Canon "L" lens white. If you become a lifetime Planetonline member this week, you get a 15% instant discount on either the 1.31 or 4.8 jigawatt versions of the flux capacitor. Of course, as a lifetime Planetonline member you'll also get both the fitted Planetonline baseball cap and the Planetonline polo shirt. Planetonline takes all major credit cards and offers a fully unsecured online ordering system.

Bringing up a Seinfeld quote here: "Not that there is anything wrong with that."

If I can't do it "RAW", then I won't do it!

You do of course realize that posting comments on this post will boost it's chances of being found by google, which is entirely and precisely why it was posted in the first place, right?
[Spammers post on public forums, and they pick the ones that end up high on the Google list first, as google will prioritize sites that have links to it from other "good" sites according to google].
I suggest Steve or someone else with moderator privileges remove this thread, even though it is entertaining [or remove any references to real live sites that aren't paying advertising money].

Just went through 8 pages of Google and without a doubt you can easily determine that most of it was SPAM......and quite easily detected as such. The thread here listed in Dphoto did not appear in those 8 pages so I would surmize that there will be needed quite an additional amount of our "FUN" posts to move it up the list in the Google hierarcy.......I doubt that would happen as I think most of us have drained away our interest in responding (although I may be wrong)
Doubt very much about our impact to adding to the popularity of this Spammer........Gary started it!!!
Good point, though, Mats

I assume that would be the 10.1 msec "startup time"?

Agreed, it should be removed. I've gotten all of the amusement out of it that I want. As for "Gary started it," that just Bob being mad because I beat him to it, and he hates losing.

It sometimes takes a while for Google to pick up new content, so this thread being only about a day old would possibly not be in google - and more importantly, if there's no other "good" sites linking to the spammers site, google still won't rate it HIGH. [It's the sum of "all sites linking to this one" that gives it a good rating].
The number of posts don't really matter, it just keeps the subject alive, which in turn means that it's got more chances to be caught by one of the google spiders.

I was most disappointed that they did not have product information on their site for the flux capacitor!
I wonder if they received hordes of anonymous complaints about it to their support line:
http://www.spamonline.com/support_at.asp?action=contact (http://www.spamtonline.com/support_at.asp?action=contact)
they might reconsider forum spamming?
Probably not, I suppose - especially since who has the time to bother sending multitudes of support requests (even if for such a crucial product!)...

I suppose if Steve can do a 'search and replace' on forum text then this thread can have each incidence of the problem word [ie Plan....line] replaced with something unrelated [eg SpamSite] - which could negate the google spider problem??
If this is impracticable, then Mats is probably right and the thread should probably be deleted (despite its amusement value...)
