It's been a really hectic summer, and I haven't had much time for photography or dphoto participation, unfortunately. But I did get a great chance to shoot at the Maine Airshow, Naval Air Station, Brunswick, ME on 16 Sept, 2007. My wife and I were especially excited, because our son (who's stationed at NASB) had been selected by his command to "fly along" with the Blue Angels ... a great honor!! We had a wonderful weekend, and the airshow was phenomenal, particularly the Blue Angels.
This was my first experience shooting an event with fast-moving subjects, so critiques and feedback would be appreciated.
Here are a couple of my favorites:

This one is sort of unusual. Though all four planes aren't in the frame, I really like the composition ... to me, it captures the speed and controlled frenzy as the Blue Angels burst from their tight formation.

As I said before, I'd really appreciate feedback.
