Green Day and My Chemical Romance

Shot Green Day and My Chemical Romance last night at Ohio State. A fantastic wild show. Here is the link to My Chemical Romance. And here's Green Day.

The "guitar behind the back" shot is superb Steve, you have to have the best job in the world and your pics display why you have it.

Outstanding shots Steve. How in the world did you get the guitar behind the back shot?

Re: Green Day and My Chemical Romance

Thanks everybody. It really helps when you have really photogenic subjects. It still is always a rush because you don't know what the performer is going to do, and the lighting is so varied and challenging. With the limited time frame on top...it gets your blood flowing.

Re: Green Day and My Chemical Romance

The My Chemical Romance show was the darkest and most heavily colored I shot. I was really concerned I would'nt get anything usable. On top of that, the lights malfuctioned and one of the three songs was performed in total darkness. BTW if you are'nt familiar with these guys, check out the video here. Click on the flash site, then click on "media". I like this band quite a bit.
