I don't know which program is better, noise ninja or neat image, I not well versed enough to know but I can say noise ninja definately has the better name. I don't know why I brought this up but I think thats a great name, NOISE NINJA!!

I'm a Neatimage Pro + dude... does the job for me.....

Too many things to try, cannot see me downloading the Ninja thing... Bob did and trashed his Photoshop CS. . . Weird

Just a note...it's a standalone application, not a plug in for Photoshop. So not sure how it could effected CS.

It may have been a coincidence or it may have some how played with the registry in that it pissed off the new CS activation, who knows!

But you all know, once bitten twice shy!

Hi, I'm the developer of Noise Ninja.

There have been a very small number of reports (less than six) where there appear to be some DLL conflicts with Noise Ninja. Usually, it results in weird behavior in Noise Ninja (e.g. no files show up in the Open dialog). Bob's is the only case I'm aware of where something else on the system disagreed with it. (And uninstalling Noise Ninja fixed the problem.) Thousands of other people have tried the product without incident.

In version 1.1., I've switched to a different installer and moved some DLL dependencies to the Noise Ninja local directory, reduced the number of registry updates, and also added a ".exe.local" redirection file, and this seems to have helped matters for at least a couple of people. I'm working on a new version that will use an entirely different UI library that should have very few dependencies on some of the more problematic Windows DLLs. (Windows programmers officially call this problem "DLL Hell", and it's a frustratingly difficult problem to solve in all cases. Hopefully I'll get the remaining kinks worked out before too long.)
