Adobe Bridge Workflow?

I just got done wathing the Russel Brown video on Adobe Bridge and how it can make quick work of sorting files and working with Raw. It almost seems like a limited version of Adobe Lightroom.

In my field, I would have little use for it other than to learn a new and cool way of doing something but it seems like a valuable resource for the pro photographer who has to batch process and work with tons of metadata.

Are any of you pros using Bridge a lot?

Everyone watching the Russel Brown videos, they're great!!

Re: Adobe Bridge Workflow?

I don't think you have to be a pro to appreciate Bridge. I've shot 5200 shots in 6 months and need a way to keep track of the survivors from the bit bucket.

And that doesn't count 3-4000 shots I already had. The first thing I do with a new batch after conversion from raw to .dng is to tag all the shots with an metafile template and then add keywords.

There have been several books written on Bridge/ACR too, Fraser's for one.

Re: Adobe Bridge Workflow?

I thought I was pretty efficient in my use of Bridge, until I watched that video! Now I've learned more than enough things to keep me occupied until Lightroom comes to maturity. Thanks for posting the link.
