photo button in member header?

When people post in the forums, their header contains various amount of information. A lot of people have a link/button that links to their uploaded photos on the right hand side, I don't. So what do I do/change to get this button?

Also, how do you change your 'title' from 'senior member' to something else?

Thanks for any input!
Stefanie

Re: photo button in member header?

To change your title you have to be a member of a "group." Go to edit profile. On the left, under Miscellaneous, click on group membership, join a group. Then you'll be able to put whatever you want below your avatar. Maybe you'll then also have a button for your gallery, but I don't know. I didn't do anything special to earn that button.

Thanks Gary, changing the title is now a breeze. If anyone knows about the photo button, I'd still appreciate help.

Re: photo button in member header?

Interesting. I joined a group and got the button. Who knew? I never even noticed the button before.

As long as we're here, I've seen people post a link into their posts without posting the whole URL - i.e. the link appears simply as underlined text. How is that done?

Hey Stephen, before you make a reply click the button below that says "Go Advanced". Then above the reply box there are various icons, look for the one that has the "world" & "chain link", by highlighting the word you want to be linked and using that icon/feature you can do what you asked.

Re: photo button in member header?

hmm. Let's give it a try. So if I do this it should take me to my gallery? Hey - it works!

Bad day if I don't learn something on this site.

Ah, there it is

Steff, maybe you have to have an avatar....just looking above and each poster with a photo button has an avatar.

Re: photo button in member header?

If I remember correctly (no guarantees ) this has happened before and required some fix by webmaster Steve.
Send him an email and I'm sure he'll sort it out.

Thanks Steve, I really appreciate it. I know you're busy and this is obviously not something big.
