Evanescence brought their inimate club tour in support of their latest release, "The Open Door" to a sold out Rivera Theater, Chicago, Illinois. The Riveria, built in 1918, was appropriately chosen as it feels like it's full of ghosts awaiting the mix of etherial , mystical and raw music that is Evanescence.
To say Evanescence has rocketed into rock stardom doesn’t seem to truly capture the missile that’s been launched. Nor does the phrase do justice to what has fueled the blazing speed of light that’s piloted by an extremely gifted female vocalist and pianist, Amy Lee.
