My daughter was in dream world all week. She was at a guitar workshop where they play all day every day and have a student concert every night. For five days.

Last night was the final student concert. My big expensive camera may as well have been a point and shoot because I was so excited and proud of her that any technique, planning, photo skills flew right out the window. Especially when she soloed. And she killed 'em!

So this picture is really just a proud dad moment. kevin

Proud dad moments count, too, and they always count more than big expensive cameras and photographic skills because no image can capture the moment as you'll remember it. Congratulations to both you and your daughter. Always heartwarming to see the kids succeed.

Yep moments like this put everything in perspective. I'm really thankful to have two great teenagers. Especially with what kids are exposed to these days. I know they don't tell me everything but what they do share with me makes the hair go up on the back of my neck. And I didn't grow up in no rose garden! hahahaha

Very cool Kevin, damn, where was these guitar workshops when I was a kid? I played all the time, somtimes eight hours a day, I would have been right at home there. Congrats to you and your daughter.

Just found this one, Kevin. Looks like she was having fun. They drive you crazy at times, but then you get a moment like this one. The photos you took that night will bring back a lot of wonderful memories for her some day. Congrats, man.

Thanks, Jeff. Even though our daughters events are a little different, I think we share the same feelings as dads. Nothing like it. And they put up with up and our cameras like troopers. i'm sure you know what i mean. later man, kevin

Yeah. When asked what I wanted when my wife first got pregnant I said a drummer;-}. Got a couple of flautists(?) and a nine year old with a great set of pipes instead. Go figure.
