thanks. david i used a 70-200 with a 1.4. they are not too far and there's a lot going on around there. i was just lucky to find this angle.

hello miss qj. interesting you should say that. i brought the sky and the rest of the background down at least a stop and a half. as a matter of fact the lion was in the shade so he was perfect. but everything else was in that harsh socal hazy sun that i just love. i darkened to taste with another layer, that's why it's the way it is. want to see the original?
