hi qj. what a peaceful and beautiful setting. too bad that nasty high sun is wreaking havoc with your well composed image. i can imagine how rich and full of color and texture it looks in "good" light. i just looked at your white tree pic in this series and the difference between the bottom part in the shade and the top part in the high sun is pretty dramatic. as always, nice job. later, kevin

Thanks guys. Kevin, you're always so in tune to the lighting conditions! (I mean that in a good way). It was difficult to get a good shot of the "white trees". Depending on where I was aiming, my sensor was acting rather erratically to the mix of light. Sun was high over the canyon walls, but I couldn't get the ridge line in the pic without my camera going into encephalitic shock!
