I like the idea of this one Jeff. I'm on the fence about the coat & hood. The only other thing that catches my eye is your alien bee over exposed the detail of the fire place top right. Otherwise nice work.

Thanks, Nick. As I exposed it in camera the upper right corner is not blown out, nowhere near it. I wanted to get experimental in the post processing, so I cranked up the exposure intentionally thinking "they'll get the point, it's a nice fireplace." I didn't really want a picture of the woodwork anyway. Also, with my usual white / matted frame that I put around these things I figured that the fireplace detail would be too redundant.
So my experiment was to try to cool off the scene but keep her face and upper body warm. Hopefully with her in front of the gas logs it would have a "warm welcome in a cold world" kind of invitation to it.
Light set up was the one softbox at top right.

First thing I think when looking at this image is that it is way too cool.
Second, this angle makes her look like she has a 'pig' nose.
Third, a 1.5million dollar home should have a more realistic fireplace;-}.

I don´t like the "cool" style. I would try to get a warmer scene --a cute girl and a fireplace should be warm --imho :-)
maybe the next time look out for her position-move her a little more in the middle, so you can crop the right side --withe the window part.

Oh, yeah. Thanks, Nick. And he's in Munich instead of Costa Rica.
Well, Freddy, please excuse me for mistaking you for our old friend. But I do still thank you for the comments on the photos and I hope that you'll be with us for a while and keep critiquing. I'm glad for the input.
