Canon has just released firmware updates for the 1D Mark II and 1Ds Mark II digital cameras. The 1Ds Mark II upgrade Version 1.1.1 can be downloaded here. The 1D Mark II Version 1.2.1 update can be downloaded here.

1Ds Mark II
This firmware update (version 1.1.1) includes the following additional functions and improvements:

Three new languages (Russian, Traditional Chinese, and Korean) added to the camera menus.
Improvement in communication reliability when using some CF cards.

1D Mark II
This firmware update (version 1.2.1) includes the following additional functons and improvements:

Three new languages (Russian, Traditional Chinese, and Korean) added to the camera menus.
Improvement in communication reliability when using some CF cards.
The issue of communication failure between the camera and some personal computers has been fixed.
